Not the over the hill gang, Busy!

First our long walk with the Lord has shown us that we are to be busy about His business ministering to whatever needs He puts in our paths each day.  Cooking a meal for someone, helping out with children, running errands, visiting shut-ins, volunteering at the hospital, helping out at the Helping Hand Miinistry are just a small part of what we do.

This isn't to say we aren't still Young At Heart.  We meet every other Tuesday at 10:30 am at the church for a pot luck meal with a speaker of interest to our age group such as health, gardening,  or banking.  Once the Air Evac group came, which is an emergency helicopter service.

The next month we go out to eat at a fun or good food place to eat.

We take day trips, Ky. Opera, Nashville, picnicing, and fishing.  We usually take 1 big week long trip such as to Branson, Mo., Gatlinburg, Tn, Washington-Philadelphia-Lancaster and Hershey, Penn., Myrtle Beach, SC.  Sometimes we have a day out surprise trip - Fun, Fun.
